About our Founder

Meet Alyssa Figueroa, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Founder of Powerhouse ABA. Alyssa has always been fascinated by the way people behave and the factors that influence their actions. As a child, she was constantly asking questions and seeking to understand the world around her. As she grew older, Alyssa became more interested in using her curiosity and problem-solving skills to help others.

Alyssa pursued a bachelors degree in Political Science from North Central College, and then went on to earn a master's degree in ABA from Aurora University. In 2021, Alyssa founded Powerhouse ABA, a behavior consultant company that is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and improve their lives through ABA. Alyssa is passionate about using ABA to empower clients and help them achieve independence and autonomy. 

When she is not working, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and reading about new topics.
